Stacyc was founded by American Ryan Ragland, who originally wired RC car parts to bicycle frames for his children to ride.
The brand came into being during Ragland’s time in Temecula, California, in 2016 and in March of 2019, Harley-Davidson purchased the rights to the Stacyc name while keeping Ragland as a key figure in the business.
Stacyc focuses on electrically-powered balance bikes aimed at riders 3-8 years old with six models ranging from 12-inch wheels to the latest 20-inch versions. Stacyc has also teamed up with commercial partners Harley-Davidson, KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas to produce licensed versions of these six models.
Stacyc is now based out of Texas with manufacturing completed in Taiwan.
