2020 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory First Look

The effortless ability to bang out a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th gear wheelie is just one of the many delights from the Tuono V4 1100 Factory. The Noale built naked bike continues to pump out a savage 175 horsepower and 89 ft-lb of torque and has become a rider favorite since it was redesigned in 2015. As the model years progressed, incremental updates have been added to sharpen and refine an already fantastic platform. 

2020 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory

The biggest upgrade for 2020 on the Tuono V4 1100 Factory is the inclusion of a semi-active electronic Ohlins Suspension on both the front fork and rear shock absorber with three logic-based settings: Road, Sport, and Track. While a predictive algorithm adapts and adjusts the suspension according to the inputs of the rider, the system also includes a fully manual mode for those who desire a traditional suspension setup where the semi-active intervention is disabled.  

Cosmetically, the Tuono V4 1100 Factory receives a new color scheme called Atomico Racer which is in line with that of the RSV4 1100 Factory and characterized by a matte black base and tricolor graphics. The RR model will be available in Sachsenring red and Magny-Cours grey. 

Additionally, the V4 1100 Factory gets a healthy helping of carbon fiber bits that extend to the front mudguard, engine cover, and side panels. 

The 2020 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory will still come packed with Aprilia’s APRC electronics package, which means IMU-powered traction control, wheelie control, and cornering ABS, up/down quickshifter, and switchable power modes.
