Electric Motorcycles are rapidly gaining popularity and functionality. There are a wide range of models starting with popular youth models such as the KTM SX-E 5 that is used for the KTM Junior Supercross Challenge halftime shows to the Harley Davidson spinoff LiveWire ONE power cruiser and everything in between. 

Zero motorcycles has arguably the most complete line of electric motorcycles and Cycle News has tested several of their bikes over the years. KTM (and sister brands Husqvarna and GasGas) offer several youth electric motorcycle models as well as the KTM Freeride full-size bike. Honda has entered the electric bike market via a licensing agreement with Greenger offering the CRF-E2 Electric Minibike. Electric Motion sells a couple models of highly capable Trials bikes. Stark Future has created a lot of waves with their Varg motocross model that is aimed at competing with the best gas-powered bikes. In the small off-road side, the Surron Light Bee is extremely popular and their full-sized Storm Bee is a reasonably priced off-road bike. Based on recent announcements from several of the popular motorcycle brands, we should expect to see a lot more capable electric motorcycle to hit the market in the coming years.
