2025 Triumph Tiger Sport 800 First Look and Specs

Triumph has introduced the all-new Tiger Sport 800 sport-touring bike positioned between the Tiger Sport 660 and Tiger 850 Sport.

It’s powered by a 798cc inline-three engine delivering 113 hp at 10,750 rpm and 62 lb-ft of torque at 8,500 rpm—significantly more power than the 660’s 80 hp and 47 lb-ft.

Despite its smaller displacement, the 800 outperforms the 850 Sport’s 888cc engine, which produces 84 hp and 60 lb-ft.

Pretty, ain’t it? Triumph’s design team has done well on this one.

The 800 is designed for sportier, road-focused riding, and it’s paired with a six-speed transmission, slip and assist clutch, and a quickshifter for clutchless upshifts.

You’ll get three riding modes in Sport, Road, and Rain, all backed up by a six-axis IMU with Cornering ABS and traction control. Included is also standard cruise control, a TFT-LCD display, and My Triumph Connectivity for navigation and smartphone integration.

The chassis features a tubular steel frame with Showa suspension, providing 5.9 inches of travel. Braking is handled by Triumph-branded four-piston calipers and 310 mm front discs, and it rides on 17-inch wheels fitted with Michelin Road 5 tires.

While visually like the 660, with identical fairing and fender designs, the 800 features a larger radiator shroud and a new exhaust system. The ergonomics are upright, with a one-piece seat with a height of 32.8 inches, and the windscreen is adjustable.

With a 4.9-gallon fuel tank and a wet weight of 472 pounds, the Tiger Sport 800 should be a solid contender against bikes like Yamaha’s Tracer 9 GT and Ducati’s Multistrada V2. It’s set to arrive in March 2025, with pricing starting at $12,495 for the Graphite colorway. For an extra $125 you can grab the Cosmic Yellow, Caspian Blue, or Sapphire Black colors.
