SWM USA introduced its new 50-state street legal 2024 RS300. It features KYB suspension components, including a fully adjustable 48mm closed-cartridge fork, Brembo brakes, Mikuni EFI, and a built-in cooling fan.
It has a six-speed transmission, a chrome-molybdenum frame, a 37.6-inch seat height, holds 1.98 gallons of fuel, and weighs a claimed 245 pounds (no fuel).
The SWM RS300 is built in Italy and might look a little familiar due to its Husqvarna lineage. When KTM/Pierer Mobility AG acquired the Husqvarna brand from BMW in 2014, the intellectual property, tooling, and original Italian manufacturing center were purchased by SWM with backing from the Shineray Group. Essentially, the RS300 is an older-style Husqvarna with several modern updates. But what stands out most is the bike’s pocket-friendly $7999 MSRP.
